Dadajabula Ward has been shaken by the mysterious disappearance of two young men, as their families endure months of agony with no answers in sight.

Dadajabula MCA Hon Sahal Mogow sounded the alarm on Monday, accusing security agencies of stonewalling families desperate for information.

He said the community was living in fear as the whereabouts of Abdi Adan Mohamed (born 1987) and Isack Abdi Mohamed (born 2002) remained unknown.

Abdi was allegedly abducted in Dadajabula town. Isack was reportedly taken in Nairobi. Both vanished without warning, leaving behind families who have been on an endless, heartbreaking search.

For months, relatives and local leaders have visited police stations, offices and any agency that might offer a clue. Instead, they say they have been met with “silence, confusion and zero transparency”.

“We have received no meaningful information,” The MCA  said in a press statement. “The lack of clarity and cooperation from authorities is unacceptable and deeply troubling.”

He warned that the disappearances go beyond the suffering of two families, they strike at the heart of constitutional rights and community safety.

He said the actions violate the Constitution of Kenya, including protections for human dignity, personal security and due process.

The MCA issued a list of demands aimed at compelling action from the state, calling for the immediate disclosure of the two men’s whereabouts.

He further demanded that the young men be produced immediately, either in a lawful detention facility or before a court.

Hon Mogow urged the Dadajabula community to remain calm but resolute as they seek justice through lawful means.

“We shall continue to use all constitutional avenues to ensure the safe return of our sons. “This matter demands urgency and seriousness,” he said.
